Argentina Women's National Team was a highlight in 2019 competitions
The 2019 season was very special for Argentine football 7. In addition to the development of the sport at a national level, Argentina has achieved great results with the women's team this year. The girls played at Copa America in Brazil and the World Cup in Italy, and in both were among the top three of the tournament.
At the beginning of the season the women's team went to Brazil for the Copa America dispute. On that occasion the team had a great tournament, reaching the runner-up, after losing to the locals. In the second half of the year, the World Cup was played in Rome and Argentina took third place, behind Brazil and Russia.
The good results gave even more visibility to the girls in Argentina and, next season, the team is expected to repeat the performances and get the first title of the category.
