Rome will host the two biggest Football 7 international events of 2019
The city of Rome will host two of FIF7's biggest events from September 21st until the 28th: The World Club Championship for Football 7 and the World Cup for Football 7. The disputes will happen in both men and women’s categories for both events and they will gather the best players in the world for the modality.
THE CITY Rome is one of the most visited touristic cities in the world and it has a huge hotel and transportation structure, making it a great option to host the two biggest international events for Football 7.
FOOTBALL 7 WORLD CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP Dates: 21st to 23rd of September The competition will have 32 teams in the men’s category and up to 16 teams in the women’s category aiming for the title. During the first phase, the teams will play in groups and then they will go on to the decisive playoffs. Any team that is interested can play. Priority slots are reserved for leagues with an official invite.
FOOTBALL 7 WORLD CUP Dates: 24th to 28th of September The competition will gather a maximum of 24 countries for the men’s category and 12 in the women’s category that will dispute the groups phase and then go on to the decisive playoffs. Priority slots are reserved for national leagues with an official invite.
