COPA AMERICA. Brazil will receive the event for the first time
Brazil will host the America´s CUP this year. The competition will be held in the city of Porto Alegre, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, with the participation of eight South American countries. The contest takes place in the men's and women's categories and will pay almost 20 thousand dollars in prizes to the three best teams of each category.
In 2018 the competition was held in Lima (Peru) and the host country won the women's category, while Brazil won the men's title. This is the continent's most important selection event and brings together the continent's top 7 football players.
The draw of the groups will be held on March 20.
