WORLD CUP OF CLUBS. Eighteen clubs in search of title
The Football 7 World Club Championship will be held between December 8 and 10 in Curitiba with the participation of 10 clubs in the men's category and 08 in the women's category. The competition is historic and for the first time brings together continental champions in the world title fight.
In the men's category the current world champion and Copa Central America champion, Sidekicks (Mexico) is confirmed. Avangard (Russia), the current European champion also lands in Brazil in search of the world title and the Coritiba champion of the League of the Americas is one of the hosts of the competition.
In the women's category the Leonas (Mexico), Central America Cup winners will have the company of Celebrew (Spain), current European champion and Figueirense / Paula Ramos (Brazil) winner of the League of the Americas will be in contention for the title.
DISPUTE SYSTEM
In the men's category there will be 03 groups with four teams, ranking the two best in each group for the quarterfinals, while the other four teams will play the recap for two more places in the knockout phase. In the women's category the eight teams are divided into two groups, playing each other to define the classification. The eight will play the quarterfinals and the teams with the best campaign will play for the draw. In the knockout phase, the confrontation between teams from the same country is mandatory.
