In direct confrontation, Brazil wins Mexico and qualifies for the final of the Women's America C


The last round of the Women's America Cup was held late this Monday (09) in Lima, Peru. Brazil and Mexico entered the court seeking to qualify for the grand final of the competition. After the first nervous weather, Brazil controlled the game and beat the Mexicans calmly by 6 to 1.

With the result, Brazil was in the second place of the first phase, behind only Peruvian, adversaries of the grand final. The game will be on Monday night (09) and promises crowded grandstands in Lima. Mexico finished in third place and faces Chile in the decision for third place, also on Monday night.

In the other game of the group, Chile and Argentina made a balanced game in search of the possibility of playing the decision of third place. With 1 to 1 on the scoreboard, the Argentines had a Shoot-Out and two penalties to win the game, but wasted all. In charge of Shoot-Out, better for the Chileans, who won by 1 to 0.
