Football 7 Awards. Brazilian Rodrigo is elected the best goalkeeper in the world
Goalkeeper Rodrigo was awarded the best goalkeeper of the Copa América 2017, helping Brazil to stay with the runner-up. This season was fundamental helping the Chapecoense / BMH to reach important titles. In the World Club Championship the goalkeeper was one of the highlights of the team that was third in the competition.
This is the third time that a Brazilian goalkeeper receives the most important prize in world football. In 2013 Guilherme del Flamengo and the Brazilian National Team were awarded and in the 2014 season it was Igor Pereira do Fluminense, champion of the League of the Americas who won the title. The Football 7 Awards is offered to the best in the world in the international football 7 season and is the main individual title offered annually by the Federation Internationale Football 7 (FIF7).
