Sidekicks dominates individual awards of the Club World Championship

After three days of competition, the Sidekicks became champion of the Club World Championship in an undefeated manner. In addition to the title, the Mexican team had many individual conquests, with the best technical, best goalkeeper and best tournament player awards.


The only individual award that was not for the Sidekicks was the artillery. Felipe Maurício, from Chapecoense, made eight goals throughout the tournament and took the trophy home. In the decision of third place, the player made four goals and overtook Hugo Rodríguez, of Sidekicks, with six. If Rodríguez did not take the artillery, it took the prize of better player of the competition. The Mexican was protagonist in several games, being important for the title.


The best goalkeeper is also Mexican. Bernaldino had decisive performances, often saving the Sidekicks from a possible defeat. Another important piece for the title was Tequila. The explosive technician, with much gesticulation showed to be a great strategist and won the prize of best technician of the tournament.
