The sixth edition of the Fut 7 Mexico League came to an end and for the fifth time Atlético Atizapan won the trophy. In the final, for the second consecutive year, the team surpassed Deportivo Mago. Besides Atizapan, only Sidekicks managed to win the League Fut7, two seasons ago.
The most recent achievement was on the night of last Wednesday (10). In the RG La Plesa arena, Atletico Atizapan came on the court with advantage as they had won the first match of the final last week by 4 to 3. This time the Mago started the game determined to reverse the result and soon opened 2 to 0. Before the interval Atizapan discounted, 2 to 1.
In the final stage Atizapan looked for the tie, 2 to 2. In the sequence the Mago returned the front and again the Atizapan tied, 3 to 3. With the match approaching the end, Mago again led the score, 4 to 3. However, Atizapan scored the equalizer and the title, 4 to 4.
With the title, Atizapan secured a place in the challenge "Champion of Champions" and will face Meave, who won the Cup Fut7 MX.
It's coming the League of the America’s 2017
Registration for the next edition of the League of the Americas are open. The 3rd edition will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, between July 13 and 16.
